A jury convicted Aaron Shaw of one count of battery on a Florida Civil Commitment Center staff member. Shaw's trial was tainted by a trial court order requiring Shaw to either wear a stun belt or leave the courtroom. We therefore reverse Shaw's conviction and remand for a new trial.
