Viron Paul ("Defendant") appeals the order summarily denying his Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850 motion for postconviction relief. Defendant has previously been denied relief. However, for the reasons discussed below, we conclude that this is one of those rare, exceptional cases where the failure to grant relief would result in a manifest injustice.
