Darvin Floyd was convicted of attempted murder in the second degree. The trial court made a specific finding that Floyd possessed and discharged a firearm which had inflicted great bodily harm to the victim. Floyd filed a multi-point ineffective assistance of trial counsel motion pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.850.
