As in Chace v. Loisel, ___ So.3d ___ (Fla. 5th DCA 2014), the trial judge initiated ex parte communications with a party through a Facebook "friend" request. For the reasons expressed in Chace, we grant the petition in the instant case. As in Chace, we do not anticipate the need to issue a formal writ.
