No. 4D11-2272.

132 So.3d 294 (2014)

Norman PICKEL, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District.

January 8, 2014.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Carey Haughwout , Public Defender, and Karen E. Ehrlich , Assistant Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.

Pamela Jo Bondi , Attorney General, Tallahassee, and James J. Carney , Assistant Attorney General, West Palm Beach, for appellee.

STEVENSON, J.

A jury found Norman Pickel guilty of two counts of sexual battery on a child less than twelve years of age, kidnapping of a child under thirteen years of age, burglary with a battery, and lewd or lascivious molestation. On appeal, the defendant challenges his convictions for these crimes, arguing error in evidentiary rulings and insisting convictions for both sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation violate double jeopardy.
