JOHNSON v. STATE

No. 1D12-512.

131 So.3d 805 (2013)

Ernest JOHNSON, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

Rehearing Denied February 17, 2014.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Nancy A. Daniels , Public Defender, and Richard M. Summa , Assistant Public Defender, Tallahassee, for Appellant.

Pamela Jo Bondi , Attorney General, and Giselle Denise Lylen , Assistant Attorney General, Tallahassee, for Appellee.

PER CURIAM.

Ernest Johnson, a juvenile, was convicted of first-degree murder and armed robbery. We affirm his convictions without further comment. However, we vacate Johnson's sentence for first-degree murder and remand for resentencing. When the trial court imposed Johnson's sentence, it failed to conduct an individualized examination of Johnson's mitigating circumstances as required by Washington v. State, 103 So.3d 917
