Universal Property and Casualty Insurance Company seeks reversal of a final judgment entered in favor of Jamon A. and Chaka Johnson who prevailed in a breach of contract suit after Universal denied their insurance claim following the discovery of a false statement on the application for insurance. Because, under the policy language at issue here, the policy is deemed void if an insured made false statements, without regard to intent, we reverse.<...
