Jamey Balzer pleaded no contest to a charge of aggravated battery with great bodily harm or a deadly weapon. The court entered judgment against him on October 7, 2010, and sentenced him on October 12, 2010. On October 18 Balzer filed a pro se motion to withdraw his plea pursuant to Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure 3.170(l), and on October 21 he filed an amendment to that motion.
