MARTIN v. STATE

No. 4D11-4466.

94 So.3d 700 (2012)

Ernest MARTIN, Appellant, v. STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District.

August 15, 2012.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Carey Haughwout , Public Defender, and Ellen Griffin , Assistant Public Defender, West Palm Beach, for appellant.

Mary Courtney Doyle , In House Legal Counsel for Treasure Coast Forensic Treatment Center, GeoCare, Inc., Indiantown, for appellee.

TAYLOR, J.

Appellant Ernest Martin challenges a final order adopting a magistrate's recommendation that he be subjected to involuntary medical treatment. He raises two issues on appeal, only one of which merits discussion. He argues that the magistrate erred by finding that the treatment was necessary when there was no evidence that it was recommended by his multidisciplinary team. We agree and reverse. See Louisma v. State, 78 So.3d 50
