The defendant, Tillman Moore, appeals his convictions for first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse, both against his three-month-old son. Moore argues two points on appeal: first, that he could not be convicted of both first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse because the crimes merged; and second, that the trial court erred in admitting evidence of prior burn injuries to the infant victim.
