The State of Florida appeals from an order granting D.R.'s motion to suppress. We reverse and remand for a new suppression hearing.

In reviewing a trial court's ruling on a motion to suppress, the appellate courts defer to the trial court's factual findings so long as the findings are supported by competent, substantial evidence, and review de novo the legal question of whether there was probable cause given the totality of the factual circumstances...
