John Fitzgerald Kepford appeals his convictions and sentences for felony battery, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and grand theft. Kepford filed a pro se motion to withdraw his plea after sentencing, and he contends on appeal that the trial court should have appointed conflict-free counsel to represent him at the hearing on his motion to withdraw plea.
