Lorie Peterson and Clayton Peterson appeal the circuit court's order denying their motion for a new trial on Mr. Peterson's claim for loss of consortium. A jury found that Mrs. Peterson had sustained a permanent injury as a result of an automobile accident caused by an employee of Sun State International Trucks, LLC. The jury awarded Mrs. Peterson damages for her injuries but awarded nothing to Mr. Peterson on his claim for loss of consortium. Because...
