James Jacobs was convicted as charged with burglary of a dwelling in violation of section 810.02(3), Florida Statutes. The charges resulted from the events of July 23, 2008, when Appellant and another man were arrested for removing aluminum siding from the walls of a vacant house. The back yard was bounded by fences, but there was a gap in the fence for the driveway. The house was built in 1912 and had been the family home until 1996, when it was damaged...
