The Palm Beach County Health Care District appeals a final judgment entered after a jury verdict. The jury awarded damages on three legal theories—tortious interference with a business relationship, defamation, and conspiracy to commit defamation and tortious interference. Each of these causes of action is derailed by a significant legal obstacle. A necessary element of tortious interference is absent and absolute immunity precludes defamation....
