This case began as an Anders appeal. Appellant's underlying crime was grand theft over $20,000, a third-degree felony, to which he pleaded nolo contendere and was sentenced on July 30, 2007, to eighteen months of probation. He was subsequently charged with violation of probation. The public defender was ordered to file a supplemental initial brief addressing whether reversible error was committed when Appellant's probation was revoked due...
