STOUGH v. STOUGH

No. 1D07-6367.

18 So.3d 601 (2009)

William M. STOUGH, Former Husband, Appellant, v. Laurel L. STOUGH, Former Wife, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, First District.

April 24, 2009.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

John S. Mills of Mills, Creed & Gowdy, P.A., Jacksonville, for Appellant.

Hal Castillo, Jacksonville, and William S. Graessle of William S. Graessle, P.A., Jacksonville, for Appellee.

HAWKES, C.J.

Appellant (the former husband) challenges the trial court's order granting Appellee (the former wife) a greater share of the parties' marital assets and awarding him $2,000 in monthly alimony. He argues the parties' circumstances did not support an unequal distribution of their assets and the trial court's factual findings failed to justify the amount of alimony awarded. We agree with the former husband and reverse on both grounds.
