The State appeals an order granting Jerry Petion's motion to suppress physical evidence seized as a result of a traffic stop. The evidence, primarily powder cocaine, was found in a secret compartment inside the car he was driving. The circuit court concluded that the car was legally stopped by a deputy and that Mr. Petion initially consented to a search of the vehicle. However, the circuit court further concluded that Mr. Petion withdrew his consent...
