No. 4D07-3459.

988 So.2d 47 (2008)

Lee Ellen DASCOTT, Appellant, v. PALM BEACH COUNTY, Florida, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Fourth District.

Rehearing Denied September 4, 2008.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Frederick W. Ford, Palm Beach Gardens, for appellant.

Amy Taylor Petrick, Assistant County Attorney, Palm Beach County Attorney's Office, West Palm Beach, for appellee.

DAMOORGIAN, J.

Lee Ellen Dascott appeals a final summary judgment in which the trial court found that a party who prevails in an action for wrongful termination under section 286.011, Florida Statutes (2002) (the Sunshine Act) is not entitled to monetary damages in the form of employee back pay. We affirm because back pay is not one of the remedies available under the Sunshine Act.
