DECISION AND ORDER

William Damon Avery spent six years in prison for a crime he didn't commit: the murder of a drug-addicted prostitute named Maryetta Griffin. Avery was exonerated by DNA testing which excluded Avery and matched the profile of Walter E. Ellis, an accused serial killer.
