This is an action under Section 502(a)(1)(B) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act ("ERISA"), 29 U.S.C. § 1132(a)(1)(B), for judicial review of a decision by the Defendants, Trustees of the ERISA-governed Local 309 Wireman's Pension Trust ("Trustees"), to deny Plaintiff James Maly's claim for retroactive payment of disability benefits.1
