Plaintiff Meyer Floor Covering owns a warehouse and showroom in Tacoma, Washington. In January 2010, a fire erupted in the building next to Meyer's warehouse. Firefighters used Meyer's roof as a staging area for equipment and men, and in the process, damaged Meyer's roof.
