These consolidated bankruptcy appeals arise out of the multi-billion dollar Ponzi scheme orchestrated by Bernard L. Madoff ("Madoff"), and the subsequent bankruptcy of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC ("BLMIS") in the wake of the public revelation of that scheme.
