MEMORANDUM OPINION

RICHARD J. LEON, District Judge.

This matter is before the Court on the District of Columbia's motion to dismiss. For the reasons discussed below, the motion will be granted.

I. BACKGROUND

Plaintiff alleges that defendant discriminated against her on the basis of her age by terminating her employment as a special education teacher with the District of Columbia Public Schools ("DCPS") effective August 1, 2008.
