This case arises from a loan provided by Iraq Middle Market Development Foundation ("IMMDF") to Al-Harmoosh for General Trade, Travel, and Tourism, Ltd. ("AGTTT"), an Iraqi business owned by the defendant, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Harmoosh ("Al Harmoosh"). IMMDF has instituted this action against Al Harmoosh to collect upon a promissory note guaranteeing this loan. Now pending before the court is Al Harmoosh...
