In this action, 54 plaintiffs assert state-law claims against 17 defendants who allegedly purchased plaintiffs' oil and gas from intermediaries who then declared bankruptcy. Plaintiffs brought the suit in the District Court of Pratt County, Kansas, and 15 of the defendants subsequently removed the case to this Court under the bankruptcy removal statute, 28 U.S.C. § 1452.
