MEMORANDUM OPINION

ROBINSON, District Judge.

I. INTRODUCTION

Plaintiff Dale Otis Palmer ("plaintiff"), an inmate at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center ("VCC"), Smyrna, Delaware, filed this civil rights complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. (D.I. 2, 6, 9, 50, 119) Presently before the court are the parties' motions for summary judgment, motions for sanctions, motions to strike, and motion for extension of time.1
