Pro se petitioner Juan Olba brings this petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Olba was convicted on October 22, 2003, after a jury trial in the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Bronx County, of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (New York Penal Law § 220.16(1)).
