Defendant Andreas JeJuan Smith was convicted of robbery, 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a), and possession of a handgun by a prohibited person, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). The robbery conviction arises out of a bank robbery, and the handgun conviction arises out of the arrest of Smith nearly one month later.
