This is a civil case that grew out of a fatal gunshot to Conrad Truman's wife. In a prior criminal case, the key question was whether the gunshot had come from Mr. Truman (murder) or his wife (suicide). The State of Utah alleged murder, relying in part on a medical examiner's testimony that the wife couldn't have shot herself...
