OPINION

Lee Blomquist manufactured and distributed marijuana in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. When the police arrived with a search warrant, Blomquist claimed his growing operation was legal and gave the officers a tour. But there was a problem: It wasn't. So Blomquist was charged with various federal drug crimes....
