Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Rebecca L. Kurz , Asst. Fed. Public Defender, Kansas City, MO, argued ( Laine Cardarella , Fed. Public Defender, on the brief), for defendant-appellant.

David Wagner , Asst. U.S. Atty., Kansas City, MO, argued ( Timothy A. Garrison , U.S. Atty., David A. Raskin , Asst. U.S. Atty., on the brief), for plaintiff-appellee.

Before SMITH, Chief Judge, COLLOTON and STRAS, Circuit Judges.

Maurice Freeman appeals his conviction on an illegal weapons charge.
