Church Joint Venture, L.P. ("CJV") purchased two judgments from the trustee of the 2009 bankruptcy case of Earl Benard Blasingame ("EBB") and his wife, Margaret Gooch Blasingame ("MGB" and, together, "the Blasingames"). CJV has pursued recovery against the Blasingames ever since—at issue here...
