On December 18, 2007, Defendant John Felix Alexander was indicted, along with twenty-one co-defendants, for conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud against elderly victims living in Canada and the United States. Shortly after the indictment was returned, the United States initiated its effort to extradite Alexander from Canada...
