In 2001, a 16-year-old named Benard McKinley shot and killed a 23-year-old man, Abdo Serna-Ibarra, as he tried to enter a Chicago park. Both were with friends, and one of McKinley's friends, a 15-year-old named Edward Chavera, may have handed McKinley the gun. Whether or not he did, he told McKinley to shoot Serna-Ibarra....
