David Juve filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in August 2009. In December 2009, Juve's former business associate, David Heide, challenged certain debts Juve owed to Heide as nondischargeable. The debts arose from a decade-long agreement between Heide and Juve. Heide periodically loaned Juve money to purchase inventory for the used car dealership that Juve partially owned in Minnesota.
