Syncora Guarantee Inc. and Syncora Capital Assurance Inc. petition this court for a writ of mandamus directing the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan to adjudicate their appeal from an August 28, 2013, decision by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
