Defendants Geovanny Ramírez-Negrón ("Ramírez") and Obed Alvarado-Merced ("Alvarado") were members of a large drug trafficking conspiracy. Ramírez was a wholesaler of cocaine, which the drug trafficking organization would process into cocaine base (more commonly known as crack). Alvarado was a street-level seller.
