Before us is a petition for a writ of habeas corpus, filed by Floyd Richardson, a convicted murderer. It is the second time his case has come before this court. The district court granted Richardson's petition on Batson grounds, a decision which the State of Illinois appeals. Richardson, in turn, appeals the district court's denial of his evidentiary/due process and ineffective assistance of counsel claims. We reverse in part and affirm...
