DIAZ, Circuit Judge:

A jury convicted Dwane Washington of violating 18 U.S.C. § 2423(a), which prohibits the interstate transportation of a minor with the intent that the minor engage in prostitution or other criminal sexual activity. He was sentenced to 240 months' imprisonment. Washington challenges his conviction, arguing that § 2423(a) requires the government to prove that he knew his victim was underage.
