RILEY, Chief Judge.

Dshaun J. Butler pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2). Butler appeals the sentence the district court1 imposed, arguing the district court "erred procedurally by failing to adequately explain its basis" for varying upward from Butler's advisory United States Sentencing Guidelines (Guidelines) range. We disagree and affirm.
