CARNES, Chief Judge:

Larry Jones appeals his 180-month sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. See 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). His sentence exceeded the normal 10-year maximum sentence under the statute, see id. § 924(a)(2), because the district court imposed an enhancement under the Armed Career Criminal Act (ACCA), id. § 924(e)(1). Jones' sole challenge to his sentence contests the application of the ACCA...
