Defendant Daniel Bruce LaDeau was indicted on a single count of possessing child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252A(a)(5)(A). This charge prescribed a sentencing range of zero to ten years' imprisonment. Subsequently, LaDeau moved to suppress the evidence that he had any such materials in his possession.
