Defendant-Appellant Marcus Freeman was convicted by a jury in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan of conspiracy to use interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder for hire, 18 U.S.C. § 1958. He received a sentence of life without parole. Freeman now brings a direct appeal from that conviction, arguing that (1) the district court erred by permitting the Federal Bureau of Investigation...
