Plaintiff Lela Tompkins ("Tompkins") slipped and fell at Detroit Metropolitan Airport ("DTW"). She filed suit in state court against Northwest Airlines ("Northwest") and the Wayne County Airport Authority ("WCAA"), alleging that they breached their statutory duty to repair and maintain the terminal.
