Filing this diversity action, 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a), Swift Transportation Company of Arizona, LLC (Swift) sued attorney Alfred F. Angulo, Jr. and the law firm Barrett and Deacon, P.A. (collectively, lawyers), alleging malpractice for failing to file a timely appeal of an adverse judgment in an Arkansas state court action.
