Several class action lawsuits were commenced against Uponor, Inc. and Radiant Technology, Inc. in 2009, alleging that they had manufactured and distributed leaky brass plumbing fittings. The cases were consolidated by the judicial panel on multidistrict litigation, and after months of negotiation the parties reached a settlement agreement in November 2011.
