In June 2007, Plaintiff-Appellant Moien Louzon ("Louzon"), a product engineer at Defendant-Appellee Ford Motor Company ("Ford"), took an approved leave of absence from Ford to visit family in Gaza. While abroad, security issues in the region caused Israel to close its borders, making it impossible for Louzon to return to the United States prior to the end of his leave....
