Eduardo Navejar, an Illinois state prisoner, brawled with a prison guard. He swears that after guards subdued and handcuffed him, they kicked, stomped, and pepper-sprayed him twice, and then they denied him adequate medical care. The district court denied his motions to recruit counsel and later entered summary judgment for the guards on his claims that they violated the Eighth Amendment.
