This case stems from a plane crash that resulted in serious injuries to both pilot and passenger. Among various claims against numerous defendants, plaintiffs allege that the aircraft engine manufacturer is liable for negligently failing to warn airplane owners and operators, and failing to notify regulatory authorities, of defects in the engine and its components.
